Accounts & Inventory Executive - Factory

NAVVYASA CONSULTING PRIVATE LIMITED is looking for an experienced Plant Accountant for one of our client to manage accounting, cost control, and inventory-related activities at their manufacturing unit. The role requires strong knowledge of plant-level accounting, cost analysis, and cross-functional coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting entries related to production, consumption, and inventory.
• Calculate and evaluate standard costs; analyze and report variances.
• Monitor raw material issuance and finished goods movement.
• Coordinate with store and production teams for timely data reconciliation.
• Prepare reports on wastage, rejections, and material variances.
• Maintain cost records related to production and job work.
• Support monthly closing activities and coordinate with the central finance team.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and standard accounting practices.
• Handle vendor bills, plant expenses, and petty cash.
• Conduct periodic physical verification of inventory and fixed assets.
• Prepare plant-level MIS and management reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• B.Com or equivalent degree.
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in plant/shopfloor accounting within a manufacturing setup.
• Knowledge of cost accounting and inventory control.
• Proficiency in Tally, Excel and reporting skills.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.
