Accounts Intern (Greater Noida)

Overview

We are seeking a motivated Accounts Intern to join our Finance team for a 3-month period. This internship is designed to be a practical learning experience, offering a genuine path for high-performing candidates: there is a strong possibility of converting this role into a full-time, permanent Accounting Assistant position upon successful completion of the internship.

Candidate Requirement

The ideal candidate must be currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Commerce (e.g., B.Com, BBA in Finance/Accounting, M.Com) or a related field. No prior work experience is required; we will provide comprehensive training.

Key Responsibilities: The Learning & Support Role

The intern will receive hands-on training

• Financial Data Entry: Learning and executing the accurate entry of transactional data (invoices, receipts, payments) into our accounting software.
• Support for Accounts Payable & Receivable: Assisting in organizing vendor invoices and customer payment records.
• Document Organization: Maintaining and filing both physical and electronic records (e.g., bills, vouchers, bank statements) to ensure an organized finance archive.
• Basic Reconciliation: Assisting in comparing bank transactions against our ledger records to ensure they match.
• Voucher Management: Preparing and checking basic accounting vouchers and supporting documents.

Required Skills and Aptitude

We prioritize foundational knowledge and a strong desire to learn.

• Educational Background: Must have a degree or be pursuing a degree in Commerce or Accounting.
• Conceptual Knowledge: Clear understanding of Basic Accounting Principles (Debit/Credit, Journal, Ledger).
• Technical Basics: Familiarity with Microsoft Excel (ability to input data and use basic formulas).
• Attention to Detail: A high degree of accuracy and commitment to detail is essential.
• Integrity: Must be trustworthy and capable of handling confidential financial information responsibly.
• Attitude: Eagerness to learn, strong work ethic, and good communication skills.
