Description
As an experienced Accounting Manager at our company, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the entire accounting department. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: - Overseeing and managing the entire accounting department, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. - Ensuring timely preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss accounts as per statutory requirements. - Monitoring and controlling costs, conducting variance analysis, and supporting management in decision-making. - Handling taxation matters such as GST, TDS, income tax compliance, and coordinating with external auditors and tax consultants. - Ensuring proper maintenance of books of accounts, cash flow management, and bank reconciliations. - Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and accounting procedures. - Managing working capital and optimizing cash flow. - Leading month-end and year-end closing processes. - Evaluating existing processes and recommending improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy. - Guiding and mentoring accounting staff and ensuring adherence to company policies. - Coordinating with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure seamless financial operations. - Preparing reports for management review and assisting in financial planning and strategy. Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Accounting; CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) preferred. - Minimum 5-8 years of experience in accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership position in a manufacturing setup. - Strong knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, taxation, financial reporting, and audits. - Hands-on experience with accounting software (Tally, SAP, Oracle, or similar). - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and team leadership abilities. - High level of integrity and professionalism. Skills Required: - Attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. - Strong understanding of manufacturing cost structures and inventory accounting. - Good interpersonal skills and leadership qualities. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
