Accounts Executive

Job Overview

We are a fast-growing digital marketing agency looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations, with a strong focus on Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable (AP):
•Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner•Ensure proper verification, approval, and booking of expenses•Manage vendor payments and maintain healthy vendor relationships•Track outstanding payables and ensure timely settlements

Accounts Receivable (AR):
•Generate client invoices as per contracts and timelines•Track incoming payments and follow up on pending receivables•Reconcile client accounts and resolve billing discrepancies•Maintain aging reports for receivables

Reconciliation & Accounting Operations:
•Perform regular bank reconciliations•Reconcile general ledger accounts•Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities•Ensure accuracy of financial records and books of accounts

Compliance & Documentation:
•Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documents•Assist in GST compliance, filings, and reconciliations (if applicable)•Support audits by providing required financial data

Coordination & Reporting:
•Coordinate with internal teams for billing, expenses, and approvals•Prepare basic financial reports and summaries for management•Support finance team with ad-hoc accounting requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications
•Bachelors degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance•1–3 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable & Receivable•Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles•Experience with reconciliation, invoicing, and payment tracking•Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (Tally, Zoho, QuickBooks, or similar)•Good attention to detail and accuracy•Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Good to Have (Preferred):
•Experience in an agency or service-based company•Basic knowledge of GST & statutory compliance•Strong communication and follow-up skills
