Job Description

Role Overview:

The Accounts Executive will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting the finance team in day-to-day accounting operations. The role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a clear understanding of accounting principles and organizational processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle
day-to-day accounting operations
including data entry, voucher preparation, payments, receipts, and journal entries.
Prepare and process
GST, TDS, and other statutory filings
on time.
Perform
bank reconciliations
, vendor reconciliations, and monitoring of outstanding receivables/payables.
Assist in
monthly and annual financial closing
, including preparation of trial balance, P&L account, and balance sheet.
Maintain proper documentation for all accounting transactions and ensure compliance with audit and internal control requirements.
Support the preparation of
project-wise financial reports, utilization certificates, and fund tracking
as required.
Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, and auditors for financial data, clarifications, and compliance.
Ensure adherence to the organizations financial policies and statutory regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance.
2–4 years
of relevant experience in accounting and financial operations.
Experience in
NGO / non-profit / project-based accounting
preferred.
Proficiency in
Tally ERP
and knowledge of statutory compliance is essential.
