Job Overview:

We are seeking a dependable Accounts Executive to join our team in Pune. The candidate will manage day-to-day accounts and billing, handle our retail counter, and maintain accurate inventory records. The role also involves outward visits within the PCMC area to book material with transporters and to receive material from our vendors. An inclination towards purchase will be an added advantage. The ideal candidate has 0–3 years of experience from a manufacturing or industrial trading set-up, is comfortable riding a two-wheeler, and negotiates well.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounts & Billing: Raise invoices, challans and e-way bills; book purchase bills; maintain ledgers; record receipts and payments; follow up on outstanding payments; support GST/TDS data preparation.

• Retail Counter: Attend to walk-in customers, identify products, prepare quotations and counter bills, collect payments and hand over material.

• Inventory: Prepare GRNs, maintain the stock register and rack locations, carry out cycle counts and monthly stock verification, and report shortages and damaged material.

• Transport & Vendor Visits: Book outgoing consignments with transporters, track shipments, and receive material from vendors in the PCMC area after verifying it against the challan/invoice.

• Negotiation: Negotiate freight, pickup arrangements and vendor terms within limits set by management.

• Purchase Support (an asset): Obtain quotations, compare rates, follow up on purchase orders and maintain vendor records.

• Documentation: Maintain dispatch logs, LR records, vendor price history and daily cash/bank summaries.

• Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and support teams to keep orders, stock and billing in step.

Key Requirements:

• Experience: 0–3 years in accounts, stores, counter sales or purchase support in a manufacturing or industrial trading set-up. Freshers with strong aptitude will also be considered.

• Education: B.Com/BBA or equivalent graduate; Tally Prime and GST knowledge preferred.

• Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of Tally, MS Excel, GST invoicing, e-way bills and basic inventory practice.

• Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate rates and freight confidently and courteously.

• Mobility: Must know how to ride a two-wheeler and have a valid licence and own vehicle for PCMC-area visits.

• Purchase Inclination: Interest in or exposure to purchase will be an added advantage.

• Personality: Honest, organised, detail-oriented and customer-friendly.

• Compensation: ₹[15000] – ₹[25000] per month, based on experience and proficiency.
