Job Description

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including processing invoices, payments, and receipts.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial records.
Maintain accurate accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports as required.
Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and legal requirements.
Assist in the preparation for audits and liaise with external auditors.
Resolve accounting discrepancies and inquiries efficiently.
Maintain organized and up-to-date financial files and records.
Collaborate with other departments within the company to ensure smooth financial transactions.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
0-2 years of proven experience as an Accounts Executive or in a similar accounting role.
Prior experience in the Logistics industry is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with GST and other relevant taxation aspects is advantageous.
