Role Overview We are hiring Consultant - Accounts Executive professionals to manage financial operations of cooperative societies, supported Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), at the district level across Maharashtra. societies The candidate will be responsible for overseeing accounting and compliance for within their assigned district. Key Responsibilities Manage complete accounting functions for cooperative societies and FPOs in the assigned district Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, ledgers, and bank reconciliations Prepare and submit statutory returns (GST, TDS, PF, etc.) in compliance with government norms Monitor fund utilization, member contributions, and loan recovery Coordinate with district-level stakeholders including society members, auditors, and government officials Assist in budgeting, financial planning, and audit readiness for each society Generate monthly MIS reports and financial summaries for district-level review Ensure compliance with MAVIM and other regulatory frameworks Conduct periodic visits to societies within the district for financial oversight Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com/M.Com preferred) 2-4 years of accounting experience, preferably in cooperative societies or rural finance institutions Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software Strong understanding of cooperative society operations, MAVIM guidelines, and FPO structures Ability to communicate effectively in Marathi and English Willingness to travel within the assigned district
