We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts & Audit Assistant to support our accounting, auditing, and compliance functions. The candidate will assist in day-to-day accounting operations, statutory audits, and preparation of financial records.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain books of accounts and accounting entries
Assist in preparation of financial statements
Support statutory, internal, tax, and bank audits
Assist in GST, TDS, and Income Tax compliance
Preparation and reconciliation of ledgers, bank statements, and balance confirmations
Maintain audit working papers and documentation
Coordinate with clients and internal teams for data collection
Support senior accountants/auditors in assignments
Any other work related to accounts and audit as assigned

Skills & Requirements

Sound knowledge of accounting principles
Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and Income Tax
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally preferred)
Good analytical and documentation skills
Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks
Good communication and coordination skills

Salary

As per industry standards / based on experience
