Accounts Assistant (Female)

Role Overview: As a Data Entry Specialist, your main responsibility will be accurately inputting financial transactions into accounting software from source documents such as receipts, invoices, and bank statements. You will also be involved in bank reconciliation by matching bank statements to recorded transactions to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in general ledger maintenance by posting transactions to appropriate accounts in the general ledger to maintain a comprehensive record of financial activity. Your tasks will also include generating basic financial statements like income statements and balance sheets and assisting with tax preparation by gathering information and preparing tax returns. Key Responsibilities: - Accurately input financial transactions into accounting software - Match bank statements to recorded transactions for reconciliation - Post transactions to appropriate accounts in the general ledger - Generate basic financial statements - Assist in tax preparation by gathering information Qualifications Required: - B.COM degree - Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, etc.) - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent data entry skills - Numerical fluency and ability to perform calculations accurately - Organizational skills to maintain clear financial records - Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices Please note that this role is specifically open for female candidates only due to gender preference. It is a full-time position with a day shift schedule and weekend availability required. The work location is in person.
