Accounts Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a Accounts Assistant with a strong background in accounting to manage billing, handle cash payments, and maintain accurate financial records. The ideal candidate should hold a Degree in Accountancy or a related field, possess good numerical skills, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced café environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily billing and generate invoices.
• Manage cash transactions and maintain accurate payment records.
• Update and maintain day-to-day accounts in ledgers or accounting software.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
• Reconcile cash and digital payments at the end of the day.
• Coordinate with management on vendor payments and purchase records.
• Ensure accuracy, compliance, and proper documentation of all financial data.

Requirements

• Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Commerce, or related field (preferred).
• Experience: 0–2 years in accounting, billing, or cashier roles.

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of basic accounting principles
• Familiarity with MS Excel or accounting software
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Candidates living near Katpadi / Gandhi Nagar will be given preference.
