Job Description

Accounting & Bookkeeping:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts using Tally Prime
  • Record daily financial transactions including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments
  • Prepare and maintain sales and purchase registers
  • Perform general ledger accounting and maintain chart of accounts
  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial records

Invoicing & Billing:

  • Generate sales invoices and purchase bills in a timely manner
  • Process customer invoices and ensure accurate billing
  • Track outstanding invoices and follow up on payments
  • Maintain vendor and customer ledgers

Bank Reconciliation:

  • Perform monthly bank reconciliation statements
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and company records
  • Monitor bank transactions and maintain cash flow records
  • Process and record bank deposits, withdrawals, and transfers

Inventory Management:

  • Maintain stock journals and inventory records
  • Record stock transfers, adjustments, and physical verification entries
  • Generate stock reports and monitor inventory levels
  • Coordinate with warehouse team for stock reconciliation

Financial Support:

  • Assist in preparation of financial statements and reports
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Handle GST/tax-related entries and compliance
  • Maintain expense records and petty cash management
  • Coordinate with auditors and provide necessary documentation

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field (B.Com preferred)
  • Proficiency in Tally Prime (mandatory)
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
  • Knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic taxation
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication skills in English and Hindi
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications

Preferred Skills:

  • 5-6 years of experience in similar role
  • Knowledge of banking operations and payment systems
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
