Role Overview

Accounts Executive

This role suits someone who enjoys owning the finance desk, maintaining clean books, and ensuring timely statutory compliance in a fast-growing agro-processing business.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Daily accounting entries in Zoho Books (preferred) / Tally / relevant software
• Maintain books of accounts Sales, Purchase, Expenses, Bank, Cash ledgers
• Bank reconciliation & cash flow maintenance
• Prepare and track invoices, delivery notes & credit notes
• Maintain accounts receivable & follow-ups for payments
• Manage accounts payable & vendor reconciliation
  

Compliance & Statutory

• GST invoicing & filing support
• TDS related entries and documentation
• Maintain purchase bills, expense records, petty cash & audit files
• Support coordination with auditor for month-end & year-end filing
  

Operational Finance

• Assist in payroll input preparation for plant staff
• Track vendor payments, raw material bills & logistics expenses
• Inventory accounting support (raw onion stock, finished goods, packing materials)
• Record and track operational expenses (diesel, transport, labour, utilities etc.)
  

Reporting

• Weekly MIS reporting inflow, outflow, outstanding & cash position
• Daily accounting status updates to management
• Support budget & cost control initiatives
  

Candidate Profile

• Minimum

  1 year experience

  in accounting
• Graduate in

  B.Com / M.Com / Accounting / Finance

• Proficiency in accounting software (

  Zoho Books advantage

  )
• Basic GST/TDS knowledge
• MS Excel proficiency
• Attention to detail & accuracy
• Ability to handle accounting independently in a small-unit setup
• Good communication & coordination skills
  

Nice to Have

• Experience in FMCG / Food Processing / Manufacturing accounts
• Knowledge of labour payroll basics
• Working exposure with auditors/CA firms
• Tamil language for vendor/staff coordination
