Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts & Admin Executive who has a strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and can also manage day-to-day administrative operations. The ideal candidate should be comfortable handling invoicing, GST returns, coordination with the CA, and managing internal office administration such as attendance, payroll, and vendor coordination.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts & Finance

  • Prepare and maintain daily invoices and expense records.
  • Handle accounts receivable and payable entries in accounting software (e.g., Tally / QuickBooks / Zoho Books).
  • Prepare monthly GST data and assist in filing returns with the Chartered Accountant.
  • Maintain records for TDS, vendor payments, reimbursements, and petty cash.
  • Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and reconciling bank accounts.
  • Coordinate with the CA for statutory filings, audits, and year-end reporting.

Administration & HR Support

  • Maintain employee attendance records and leave summaries.
  • Assist in preparing monthly salary sheets and coordinating salary disbursal.
  • Manage office documentation, vendor bills, and utility payments.
  • Support onboarding of new employees with basic documentation and ID creation.
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day office operations and handle procurement of office supplies.
  • Act as the point of contact for inter-departmental communication and vendor follow-ups.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and GST compliance.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally preferred).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication in English.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy in financial records.

Preferred but Not Mandatory

  • Experience working with a CA or in a small to mid-size company’s finance/admin department.
  • Knowledge of payroll processing and statutory deductions (EPF, ESIC, TDS).
