Job Description

Job Summary:

The Finance Analyst is responsible for managing the end-to-end financial reporting process, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements. This role involves collaboration with various teams to maintain compliance and enhance reporting efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the preparation and consolidation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data in the general ledger.
Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
Analyze financial results and provide insights to support management decision-making.
Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.

Required Skills:

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
Proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and reporting tools.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.

Experience:

Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in Record to Report and Reporting and Analysis roles.
Experience with financial consolidation and reporting processes.

Capabilities:

Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing environments.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
Proactive in identifying issues and implementing solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

Commerce graduate. Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
