Accounting and Finance Associate

Job description:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented candidate to join our team as an Accountant and Purchase Executive. This dual-role position offers a fantastic opportunity to learn and grow in both finance and procurement functions. The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of accounting principles and a keen interest in handling purchase-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting:

• Assist in day-to-day accounting entries and Bookkeeping.
• Maintain records of receipts and payments.
• Help with bank reconciliations and petty cash handling.
• Prepare and verify bills, invoices, and financial documents.
• Assist in GST filings, TDS entries, and monthly reports under guidance.

Purchase:

• Assist in sourcing materials from vendors as per company requirements.
• Compare quotations and negotiate prices.
• Maintain accurate purchase records and update internal systems
• Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery and documentation.
• Coordinate with stores and inventory teams for stock updates.
• Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery of goods.

Required Skills:

• Basic understanding of accounting and finance.
• Knowledge of MS Excel, and MS Office.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize duties.
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
