Job Description

Role Overview:

Accountant Trainee

Key Responsibilities:

Test accounting workflows and features inside
HelloBooks
(e.g., journal entries, reports, invoices)
Identify and report errors or mismatches in data and calculations
Verify integration of accounting rules (GST, ledgers, balance sheets, etc.)
Compare system-generated results with manual accounting entries in
Tally
Document bugs, suggest improvements, and assist the product team
Work closely with the QA and development teams to improve product accuracy

Requirements:

B.Com / M.Com or pursuing accounting-related degree
Basic knowledge of
Tally ERP / Tally Prime
Understanding of journal entries, ledgers, and trial balance
Good analytical and documentation skills
Interest in accounting technology and software testing

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with GST, TDS, and financial reporting
Knowledge of MS Excel and accounting workflows
