Job Description

Job Summary:

Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Accounting & Reporting

Maintain accurate books of accounts, including ledgers, journals, and trial balances.
Prepare
monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
in compliance with accounting standards.
Record and monitor all financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.

Compliance & Auditing

Ensure compliance with
statutory requirements
such as GST, TDS, VAT, Income Tax, and other regulatory obligations.
Prepare and submit statutory filings within deadlines.

Analysis & Process Improvement

Conduct variance analysis of budgets versus actuals and highlight key deviations.
Assist in improving accounting processes and financial reporting efficiency.
Identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.

Key Skills :

Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP / IFRS) and financial regulations.
Proficiency in
accounting software
(Tally, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
