The main duties and responsibilities of an accountant include producing monthly reports for the directors, head teachers, and the finance committee, and preparing school accounts for submission to the school auditor.
Calculating taxes and submitting tax returns to comply with the law
preparing for Auditing financial documents to ensure they are accurate and maintaining the confidentiality of the financial data
Maintain the privacy of financial information, and when necessary, backup databases
Assess accounting software applications and accounting control procedures
Make and evaluate the organization’s year-end financial accounts
