Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a proficient Accountant with a strong understanding of Goods and Services Tax (GST) regulations and practical experience in GST filing. The ideal candidate will be adept at using Tally ERP/Prime for accurate financial record-keeping, reporting, and compliance. This role requires a meticulous individual who can manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure timely GST compliance, and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization. Responsibilities: GST Compliance: Prepare and file accurate and timely GST returns. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of GST laws and regulations. Handle GST reconciliation and resolve any discrepancies. Ensure accurate input tax credit (ITC) claims. Manage e-way bill generation and compliance. Respond to GST related notices. Tally ERP/Prime Operations: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in Tally ERP/Prime. Process invoices, payments, and receipts. Perform bank reconciliations. Generate financial reports (balance sheet, profit and loss statement, etc.). Manage inventory records in Tally. Handle data entry, and maintain the integrity of the information held within Tally. General Accounting: Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures. Prepare and maintain accurate financial documentation. Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable. Assist with audits and tax preparations. Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions. Other Duties: Assist with other accounting and finance-related tasks as required. Contribute to process improvements. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or a related field. Proven experience as an Accountant, with a focus on GST and Tally. Strong understanding of GST laws and regulations. Proficient in Tally ERP/Prime. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. We are looking for immediate joiners.
