Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Manage end-to-end
Accounts Receivable
: student & sponsor invoicing, receipt posting, payment allocation, AR reconciliation, aging review, and collections follow-up
Handle full
Accounts Payable
cycle: verify vendor invoices, ensure UAE VAT compliance, process timely supplier payments, maintain vendor data, and AP reconciliation
Maintain
General Ledger & journals
, monthly bank/AR/AP reconciliations, and support period closing activities
Assist in
VAT reporting, IFRS revenue recognition
, budgeting support, and audit documentation
Coordinate with departments, vendors, students, and external stakeholders while ensuring record accuracy & confidentiality

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance with
4–5 years UAE experience
in AR, AP, and GL
Strong knowledge of
UAE VAT laws and IFRS
compliance
Experience in
education sector / large institutional environment
preferred
Proficient in
ERP systems and advanced MS Excel
(aging, reconciliations, reports)
Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and able to work independently
Fluent English communication
with high ethics & confidentiality mindset
