Job Description

The Role

This position will be responsible for the full spectrum of finance functions in accordance with statutory requirements, company policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for timely update of books of accounts, preparation and accurate reporting of financial matters such as management reports, financial statements, Coordinate with Auditors for various Audits - Stat Audit, Tax Audit, Internal Audit, IFC Audit others, preparation of MIS reports and update variance analysis, budgeting and forecasting, EVA, Corporate tax and GST reporting, audit schedules, intercompany reconciliation as well as checking of payment records.

Required to perform credit review for vendor selection, as well as liaise with auditors and tax consultants on year end and taxation matters.

Work closely with various consultants - tax consultants, due diligence consultants, Corp Sec consultants, and other Govt Authorities for compliance submission purposes.

Liaise with finance team based in Singapore headquarters for monthly, quarterly and yearly closing activities and internally with various operational departments to perform job role.

Handle additional responsibilities of new Projects as applicable

Job Requirements

Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics, CA / CA-Inter / MBA / MCom with Accounts / Finance background.

Minimum 4-5 years relevant hands-on experience.

Proficient in MS Excel.

Able to communicate in local language to communicate with local stakeholders and English to liaise with Headquarters in Singapore.

Experience with SAP system would be advantageous.

Responsible, meticulous, analytical, organized and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
