Job Description

Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and post journal entries in the general ledger.
Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
Maintain and update fixed asset schedules and depreciation.
Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation.
Prepare and file sales tax, use tax, and other regulatory reports.
Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports.
Review expense reports and ensure compliance with internal policies.
Support budgeting and forecasting efforts as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
35 years of accounting experience, preferably in a US IT-based company.
Experience with Intuit Quickbooks is required"
Solid understanding of
US GAAP
.
Running US payroll and having strong experience of ADP/ Intuit processing
Expert in Billing invoicing and following up on Payment.
Proficiency with accounting software especially QuickBooks.
Filling of taxes and handling 1041, 1099 and other tax terms.
Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

CPA or on CPA track.
