Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. The role involves handling day-to-day accounting operations, preparing financial statements, and supporting audits and tax filings.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain day-to-day accounting records (journal entries, ledgers, reconciliations).
Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
Manage accounts payable and receivable, vendor invoices, and employee reimbursements.
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.
Liaise with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
Monitor budgets and assist with financial forecasting.
Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Support management with financial reports and data for decision-making.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA/CPA/ICWA preferred for senior roles).
Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards and taxation laws.
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, SAP, or similar).
Excellent MS Excel skills.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
