Accountant in civil

You will be responsible for managing all accounting transactions, preparing budget forecasts, and publishing financial statements in a timely manner. Additionally, you will handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, compute taxes, and prepare tax returns. It will be your duty to manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements, as well as to report on the company's financial health and liquidity. You will be expected to audit financial transactions and documents, reinforce financial data confidentiality, and conduct database backups when necessary. Compliance with financial policies and regulations will also be part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should have work experience as an Accountant and possess excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Hands-on experience with accounting software such as FreshBooks and QuickBooks is essential. Proficiency in Advanced MS Excel, including Vlookups and pivot tables, is required. Experience with general ledger functions, strong attention to detail, and good analytical skills are also necessary. A BSc in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant degree is preferred, and additional certification such as CPA or CMA would be a plus.
