About the job: As an Accountant at PlanB Consultancy, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and providing valuable insights to drive business growth. You must possess a strong understanding of Accounting principles, proficiency in Tally and MS-Excel, and experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. Key responsibilities: 1. Maintain day-to-day books of accounts in Tally with accuracy and timeliness. 2. Prepare and review GST workings, TDS calculations, and monthly tax filings. 3. Perform GST Reconciliation between GSTR-2A, 2B, and books. 4. Track and reconcile Input Tax Credit (ITC) accurately. 5. Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in coordination with senior management. 6. Handle bank reconciliations, vendor/customer ledger scrutiny, and MIS reporting. 7. Ensure timely statutory compliance and support audit requirements. 8. Work closely with internal teams and clients to support financial documentation and queries. Bachelor's degree in Commerce or a related field. 5. Experience working in a consulting or CA firm is a plus.
