Accountant

Job Title: Accountant Location: Howrah (Near Shibpur) Experience Required: Minimum 5 Years Salary: Up to ₹24,000 per month Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Accountant with in-depth knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial systems. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Tally , and well-versed in Income Tax , GST , TDS , Bookkeeping , BRS , and E-way Bill generation. This role demands attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to handle all day-to-day accounting activities independently. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate books of accounts (day-to-day bookkeeping). Prepare and file GST returns , manage input credit, and handle GST compliance. Handle TDS deduction, payment, and return filing. Generate E-way bills for goods transportation as required. Prepare and manage Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) . Assist in Income Tax filing and related compliance. Work on Tally ERP for data entry, ledger management, and report generation. Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants. Prepare financial reports and summaries as needed by management. Key Skills & Requirements: Minimum 5 years of accounting experience . Proficiency in Tally ERP and MS Excel. Thorough knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax rules and procedures. Familiar with e-filing portals for GST, TDS, and Income Tax. Knowledge of E-way bill generation and compliance. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Must be located near Shibpur, Howrah , or willing to commute.
