Accountant / Bookkeeper

As an Accountant/Bookkeeper at Imperial Dental Group in Hyderabad, India, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our UK-based dental company. Your responsibilities will include: - Performing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using Xero software - Scanning, uploading, and accurately inputting invoices into the system - Reconciling bank statements, credit card transactions, and supplier accounts - Maintaining financial records, ledgers, and journals - Preparing financial summaries and assisting with monthly reports - Ensuring accuracy and compliance with UK VAT and financial regulations - Communicating with UK-based management and external accountants - Keeping digital records organized, backed up, and easily accessible To excel in this role, you must meet the following requirements: - Minimum 2-3 years of experience working with Xero (confidence and independence are key) - Strong understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles - Familiarity with UK accounting standards and VAT - Excellent accuracy, data entry, and organizational skills - Ability to work independently and follow UK time zone hours - Good communication and coordination abilities - Proficiency in Excel and other standard office tools You will be based in Hyderabad, India, working full-time on UK business hours from Monday to Saturday.
