RNTL is redefining the equipment rental experience with a fully connected platform for todays businesses. As a leading provider of construction technology and equipment solutions across India, is on the hunt for talented, inquisitive, and diligent individuals to join our expanding team.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting practices in Chennai, this role requires the ability to handle day-to-day financial transactions, prepare accurate reports, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Operations:

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Process invoices, payments, and expense reports accurately and on time.
  • Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions.

Month-End and Year-End Closing:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end financial closings.
  • Ensure all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.

Compliance and Taxation:

  • Ensure compliance with Indian accounting standards, as applicable.
  • Prepare Income tax returns, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and file monthly/Yearly GST tax returns,.
  • Prepare and file TDS returns.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Generate financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities

Audit Support:

  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits.
  • Provide accurate documentation and ensure adherence to audit requirements.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices and changes in accounting regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent is a plus).
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting or Well qualified fresheres with good academic track record will also be considered.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Zoho Books, SAP or similar tools)
  • Zoho Experience will have added advantage
  • Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
