Accountancy teacher

Job Objective:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Accountancy & Economics Teacher on a part-time basis to teach senior secondary students (Class 11 & 12). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Accountancy and be equally proficient in Economics, with a passion for helping underprivileged students build a solid foundation in commerce education.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Graduate or Postgraduate in Commerce, Accountancy, Economics, or a related field
• Proficiency in Accountancy is mandatory; strong command of Economics is essential
• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience in Class 11–12 Commerce subjects (preferred)
• In-depth understanding of CBSE/State Board curriculum for Accountancy and Economics
• Ability to teach complex topics like financial statements, partnership accounts, company accounts, and macroeconomic policies in a simple, student-friendly manner
• Knowledge of interactive, practical, and inclusive teaching techniques
• Patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to equitable and impactful education
• Local candidates preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Accountancy (priority subject) and Economics to students in Classes 11 & 12
• Prepare clear, engaging, and age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with the syllabus
• Use real-life examples, numerical practice, case studies, and visual aids to strengthen conceptual understanding
• Guide students in mastering journal entries, ledgers, balance sheets, and financial reporting
• Encourage critical thinking on economic issues like inflation, GDP, government budget, and sustainable development
• Maintain a supportive, disciplined, and motivating classroom environment

Education:

Bachelor and Master’s in Commerce (Preferred)

Experience:

• Teaching (Accountancy/Economics): 1+ year (Preferred)
• Making lesson plans: 1 year (Preferred)
• Total work: 1 +year (Preferred)

Language:

English (Preferred) and Hindi (students are from English and Hindi Medium)
