Job Description

The role within Cisco's GSP organization involves integrating Solution Sales, Services Sales, Service Delivery, and SP Engineering to provide support to over 90 leading service providers. This team is dedicated to staying ahead in emerging technologies such as SDN, Cloud, and IoT. The primary focus lies in pre-sales technical positions that require a blend of technical expertise and sales experience to assist major service providers and contribute to Cisco's strategic vision. In this position, your responsibilities will include crafting and proposing solutions for Service Provider Accounts by leveraging Cisco technologies such as MPLS, Segment Routing, BNG, Routing and Switching, and Optical. You will be tasked with developing innovative, customized solutions that enhance client networks and help achieve strategic objectives. Furthermore, engaging with clients to provide expert advice and support, serving as a trusted advisor to deliver value through Cisco solutions will be a crucial aspect of the role. To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 15 years of experience in the telecommunications industry with a solid background in designing and implementing network solutions for service providers using Cisco technologies. Your duties will involve developing tailored network solutions utilizing Cisco technologies to meet specific client needs, collaborating with sales teams to create compelling proposals that effectively communicate the value of Cisco offerings, understanding client challenges to align solutions with their business goals, providing technical expertise in MPLS Segment Routing, BNG, and Routing and Switching for solution design, and staying updated on industry trends and Cisco product advancements to drive innovation. Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE) or a related field - Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification - Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification - Strong understanding of Cisco technologies and solutions - Proven expertise in designing and implementing network solutions Preferred Qualifications: - Ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences - Demonstrated aptitude for identifying challenges and developing innovative solutions aligned with client objectives - Proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals - Skilled in building and maintaining strong client relationships while delivering exceptional service - Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to emerging technologies and changing client requirements Join us at Cisco, where every individual contributes their unique skills and perspectives to drive our purpose of enabling an inclusive future for all.
