Position:
Role Overview
The IT Coordinator will act as a bridge between the organization and the software development team, ensuring smooth operation of applications, websites, digital platforms, and in-store IT infrastructure. The role involves monitoring, coordinating updates, troubleshooting, and ensuring uniform IT standards across all store locations.
Key Responsibilities
Application & Website Management
- Coordinate with software developers to implement updates, bug fixes, and enhancements for apps and websites.
- Monitor website and app functionality, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal user experience.
- Report and follow up on technical issues until resolution.
Digital Presence & Security
- Manage store locations on Google Maps, ensuring accurate and updated information.
- Identify and report fraudulent pages, fake listings, or unauthorized social media accounts.
- Monitor official social media pages for compliance and integrity.
Store IT Infrastructure
- Oversee the working status of CCTV systems across all store locations, ensuring recordings are secure and accessible.
- Ensure uniform and uninterrupted background music across all stores by monitoring audio systems.
- Troubleshoot IT and connectivity issues at store level and escalate to vendors/technicians when required.
Coordination & Reporting
- Act as a single point of contact between management, software vendors, and store managers for IT-related issues.
- Prepare and share periodic reports on app/website performance, IT compliance at stores, and security monitoring.
- Maintain documentation of updates, incidents, and resolutions.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong coordination and communication skills to liaise between technical and non-technical teams.
- Basic knowledge of software testing, website content monitoring, and mobile app usability.
- Familiarity with Google Maps management, social media platforms, and online fraud detection.
- Knowledge of CCTV surveillance systems and audio distribution setups.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
- 3 –5 years of experience in IT support, digital coordination, or similar roles.
- Experience in coordinating with software development teams is an added advantage.
