Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Maintain daily accounting records

    including sales, purchase, cash book, and ledgers.
  • Prepare and post journal entries

    for all financial transactions.
  • Handle billing and invoicing

    , ensuring accuracy and timely issuance.
  • Manage GST work

    GSTR-1, GSTR-3B preparation and filing.
  • Manage TDS deduction, deposit, and return filing

    .
  • Bank reconciliation

    on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
  • Maintain vendor and customer accounts

    , including payment follow-up.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements

    like P&L, balance sheet, cash flow.
  • Assist with audits

    by providing required documents and explanations.
  • Monitor expenses and prepare MIS reports

    for management.
  • Support payroll preparation

    including attendance and salary calculation.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

  • Prepare budgets, forecasts

    , and track variances.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Education:

  • B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or related qualification.
  • Experience:

  • 15 years of experience in accounting, billing, GST, TDS, and ledger maintenance.
  • Experience in Tally ERP/Tally Prime and MS Excel is preferred.
  • Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles.
  • Proficient in GST returns, TDS calculation & filing.
  • Ability to prepare invoices, vouchers, and financial statements.
  • Hands-on experience with Bank Reconciliation and MIS reporting.
  • Software Knowledge:

  • Tally Prime
  • MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, Formatting)
  • Accounting software like Busy/Zoho Books (if applicable)
  • Soft Skills:

  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Integrity and confidentiality in handling financial data.
  • Other Requirements:

  • Knowledge of local taxation rules and compliance.
  • Strong organizational skills for record keeping.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
