Account Executive (PR)

As an Account Executive at Edelman India, you will play a crucial role in the integrated Brand practice, focusing on marquee clients in lifestyle and consumer media relations. Your responsibilities will include research, planning, and implementation of comprehensive public relations campaigns. You will serve as the daily client contact, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring the smooth running of the account in a fast-paced environment. Collaboration with cross-practice and cross-agency teams is essential to deliver innovative solutions for clients. You will be expected to take initiative, anticipate next steps, and provide support to account leads. Building strong media relations, crafting compelling messages, and driving outreach plans will be key aspects of the role. Additionally, mentoring and supporting team members, continuous development through training programs, and active participation in industry networking activities are crucial for success. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 months to a year of experience in public relations or related fields. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, along with proven project management skills and the ability to lead small teams effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strategic thinking, and familiarity with best practices in public relations are essential for this role.
