About Us: ACJ Transport is a leading logistics and freight provider serving industries like seafood, agriculture, petroleum, paper, chemicals etc with a fleet of 33 vehicles, including 20ft, 40ft, and reefer trucks. We're looking for an Accounts Manager to join our Accounts team and support our growth. Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced and result driver Accounts Manager to oversee accounting operations, reporting, and compliance. This key leadership role requires expertise in accounting and finance along with the ability to lead a small accounts team. Job Description: · Conduct the company’s accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, payroll, and general ledger. · Prepare Financial statements - Income & Expenditure, P/L, Cash Flow, Balance sheet · Prepare accurate financial reports (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly). · Conduct financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to support business growth and decision-making. · Monitor Budget performance and expenditure control · Manage the preparation of tax filings, audits, and reporting requirements. · Experience with preparation of EPF, ESI, TDS, and GST and adherence to statutory compliance · Prepare MIS reports for Business Performance Analysis · Prepare and reconcile monthly, quarterly and annual financial report. · Prepare and co-ordinate payroll administration with HR department. · Prepare and process invoices and send pending statements to clients · Liaising with clients, banks and financial institutions · Track bank deposits and payments, and conduct bank reconciliations · Prepare Bata Reports and payments · Prepare and process driver payments · Review and report driver 1 year completion milestones and benefits · Handle driver queries and maintain courier logs · Assist in financial audits and maintain accurate accounting records · Manage payments to Service providers & Petrol Pumps · Manage petty cash · Maintain daily trip sheet data · Manage vehicle insurance and tax · Prepare and revise E-way bills/Form 13 · Manage toll expenses and vehicle fines. · Assist with preparation of financial reports and statements · Assist with other accounting duties as required. · Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial data integration with operations Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance (Master’s Degree, CPA, CMA is a plus) * 4+ years of accounting experience * Proficient in accounting software (Tally) , Excel * Proficient in GST * Strong knowledge of financial transactions and bookkeeping. * Accuracy, attention to detail, and numerical aptitude * Excellent analytical and communication skills (both verbal & written).
