Job Description

The candidate will support key accounting functions such as AR/AP, budgeting, and cost analysis.

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare recurring and adjusting journal entries for month-end and year-end close.
Perform reconciliation of trial balance accounts.
Prepare and file Sales & Use Tax returns and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Research, prepare, and maintain sales tax exemptions.
Review liabilities for adequate reserves and accruals.
Manage fixed asset additions, disposals, and maintain the fixed asset subledger.
Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for internal teams and the parent company.
Assist in annual budget preparation and forecasting activities.
Perform financial control activities at the preparer level.
Support periodic audits (financial, bank, and others) by providing required documentation.
Assist with
Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)
processes as needed.
Analyse key cost drivers, vendor spend patterns, and material cost factors.
Provide analytical support for sales and purchasing data; generate ad-hoc reports.
Review purchasing transactions and coordinate with stakeholders for continuous improvement.
Execute short-term projects and additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business with an Accounting/Finance focus.
810 years of experience in an Accounting or Finance role.
Strong understanding of GAAP.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Strong interpersonal skills with leadership qualities and a collaborative working style.
