Academy Operations Manager

You will be responsible for managing the non-training aspects of the academy, ensuring smooth operations, fostering strong parent-athlete relationships, and delivering high-quality programs. As the Academy Operations Manager at Akanksha Singh Basketball in Bengaluru, you will play a vital role in the overall success of the academy. Your key responsibilities will include managing the coaching roster, coordinating training sessions, and ensuring effective session planning with coaches. You will oversee student enrollments, onboarding, and program structuring while maintaining records of athlete progress and participation. Conducting athlete reviews with parents and students on pre-designed frequencies will also be part of your responsibilities. Acting as the primary point of contact for parents, you will address inquiries and concerns, building strong relationships with students and their families to enhance their academy experience. Organizing tournaments, events, and showcases, as well as coordinating workshops, guest coach sessions, and special programs will be part of your role in event and community building. Hosting exposure matches and internal tournaments will also be under your purview. Ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the academy and working on initiatives to enhance the academy experience and drive enrollments will be crucial. You will be responsible for managing academy revenue, billing, and collections to support the growth of the academy. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Business, or a related field, along with at least 2 years of experience in sports academies, education, or operations management. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, coupled with a passion for sports and youth development. The ability to multitask and collaborate effectively with coaches, parents, and students will be key to success. Experience in event planning and customer relationship management will be advantageous.
