Academic Writer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Junior Academic Writer & Engineering Research Analyst to support our PhD candidates and educational projects. This unique entry-level role combines strong academic writing skills with hands-on expertise in industry-standard engineering software. The ideal candidate is a recent graduate from a design or engineering program who is passionate about research and wants to help scholars articulate complex technical concepts with clarity and precision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Academic Writing & Editing:
• Assist PhD students in drafting, editing, and proofreading research papers, dissertations, and journal articles.
• Ensure all written work adheres to academic standards, proper grammar, and specific style guides (e.g., IEEE, ASME).
• Help structure technical documents for logical flow and clear argumentation.

• CAD Modeling & Design Support:
• Utilize SolidWorks and/or Creo to create, modify, and analyze 3D models and technical drawings for research publications and dissertations.
• Prepare models and assemblies for simulation and analysis.

• Simulation & Data Analysis:
• Employ ANSYS to perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations to validate research hypotheses and generate data.
• Use MATLAB for post-processing simulation data, performing advanced calculations, and automating analysis workflows.

• Technical Visualization & Collaboration:
• Generate clear, publication-quality graphs, charts, and figures from all software platforms.
• Work closely with PhD candidates to interpret the results of analysis and integrate them effectively into their written work.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related design/manufacturing field.
• Experience: 0-1 year of professional experience, or equivalent academic/project experience (e.g., a significant thesis or capstone project involving these tools).
• Software Proficiency: Demonstrated ability with MATLAB, SolidWorks, ANSYS, and/or Creo.
• Writing Skills: Excellent command of the English language with proven academic writing and editing capabilities.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with an ability to connect simulation results to theoretical concepts.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to both writing and technical modeling/analysis.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
