About the Role

Xylem Learning is looking for enthusiastic and goal-driven Student Counsellors to join our expanding counselling and sales team in Ernakulam. In this role, you will guide students and parents in making informed educational choices while driving enrolments and contributing to the continued growth of Xylem Learning.

This position is ideal for individuals who have prior experience in academic counselling, consultative sales, or the education sector, and are passionate about helping learners succeed while achieving ambitious performance goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Connect with prospective students and parents through structured outbound and inbound calls using our in-house lead database.
• Understand each student’s academic background, career aspirations, and challenges to recommend the most suitable programs.
• Confidently present and explain Xylem Learning’s offerings in a persuasive and professional manner.
• Deliver personalised academic counselling to build trust, credibility, and long-term relationships.
• Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly enrolment targets.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions, follow-ups, and conversions using CRM tools.
• Collaborate with academic, marketing, and operations teams to stay informed about programs, promotions, and industry trends.
• Provide feedback and insights to support improvements in lead generation and the overall student experience.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• 0–2 years of experience in academic counselling, student advisory, or sales (preferably in the education sector).
• Proven ability to achieve or surpass enrolment/sales targets.

Key Skills

• Strong verbal communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build rapport and credibility with students and parents quickly.
• Highly motivated, target-oriented, and results-driven.
• Adaptable with strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Malayalam is preferred; good command of English is desirable.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
