We're expanding our team in Kozhikode and looking for passionate Academic Counsellors to help students make informed academic choices and drive admissions.

Role Overview

As an Academic Counsellor, you’ll be the first point of contact for students and parents, guiding them through their educational journey by understanding their goals and recommending suitable programs. Key Responsibilities

• Student Interaction: Engage with prospective students and parents via inbound/outbound calls using our internal lead database.
• Academic Counselling: Understand student goals and recommend the right programs to support their learning journey.
• Program Presentation: Clearly communicate the features and benefits of Xylem Learning’s offerings in a persuasive manner.
• Relationship Building: Foster trust and maintain strong, long-term relationships with students and parents.
• Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed monthly/quarterly enrolment goals.
• CRM Management: Accurately record and manage all interactions and follow-ups in the CRM system.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Coordinate with academic, marketing, and operations teams to stay updated on offerings and promotions.
• Insight & Feedback: Share valuable input to improve lead generation and enhance the student experience.

Who Can Apply

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Graduation is mandatory)
• Experience: 0–2 years in academic counselling, sales, or student advisory roles (freshers are welcome)
• Track Record: Experience in meeting enrolment/sales targets is a plus

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills
• Ability to connect and build rapport with students and parents
• Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and results-driven
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Language: Proficiency in Malayalam preferred; English communication is a plus
