Job Description: Academic Counselor Organization: Vision IAS Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Academic Counselor with 2-3 years of experience in the UPSC domain. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the UPSC examination process, having successfully cleared the Prelims or Mains, and be skilled in student counseling across multiple channels, including virtual, physical, and telephonic interactions. Key Responsibilities: o Provide comprehensive guidance to UPSC aspirants availing our courses on exam preparation strategies, study plans, and time management. o Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions (in-person, virtual, or on calls). o Serve as the first point of contact for students and visitors. o Manage inquiries related to courses, study materials, and other academic services offered by Vision IAS. o Maintain a professional and welcoming environment at the front office. o Help students understand the syllabus, exam pattern, and evaluation criteria. o Provide motivational and psychological support to ensure students remain focused and confident. o Assist in coordinating workshops, mock tests, and seminars related to UPSC (CSE) preparation. Requirements: · 2-3 years of experience in UPSC-related domains, preferably with proven success in clearing Prelims and Mains. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. · Proficiency in counseling techniques across various platforms (physical, virtual, and calls). · Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. · A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution. Preferred Qualifications: · Graduation/Post-graduation in any discipline (preferably from a recognized university). · Prior experience in academic counseling or related roles. · Familiarity with Vision IAS programs and offerings is an advantage.
