Job Summary:

The Academic Counselor will be responsible for guiding prospective students and their parents through the admission process, from the first point of contact to final enrollment. The role involves handling inquiries, converting leads into admissions, providing career/academic guidance, and ensuring a smooth admission journey for each student.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Management & Counseling
• Handle walk-ins, telephonic, and online inquiries from students and parents.
• Counsel students regarding educational programs, courses, career opportunities, and admission requirements.
• Maintain follow-up with leads to maximize conversions.
• Understand student needs and suggest suitable courses.
• Admissions Process
• Guide students through the complete admission process including application, documentation, and fee payment.
• Ensure accurate data entry of leads, inquiries, and admissions in CRM or MIS system.
• Maintain high conversion ratios from inquiry to enrollment.
• Coordinate with internal departments (academics, finance, admin) to ensure seamless onboarding.
• Student Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with students and parents.
• Address queries, doubts, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Act as a bridge between students and institution during the admission phase.
• Reporting & Targets
• Achieve monthly/quarterly admission targets.
• Provide daily/weekly/monthly reports on inquiries, conversions, and admissions.
• Share feedback on market trends, competitors, and student expectations.

• Strong sales & persuasion ability with a student-centric approach.
• Good knowledge of education industry trends.
• Proficiency in MS Office / CRM tools.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred: Education, Management, Psychology, or related field).
• 0–3 years of experience in counseling, admissions, or sales (education sector preferred).
• Freshers with excellent communication skills may also be considered.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
