Academic Counselor

Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and student-focused Academic Counselor to manage the end-to-end admissions process for prospective students. This role involves handling inquiries, counseling students, conducting follow-ups, and converting leads into enrollments while delivering a professional and supportive admission experience.

Note: Candidates are required to submit a short self-introduction video as part of the application process.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel prospective students and recommend suitable programs based on their career goals
• Clearly explain program details, benefits, eligibility criteria, and admission procedures
• Guide students from initial inquiry through to successful enrollment
• Achieve monthly targets for counseling sessions, conversions, and enrollments
• Communicate with students via phone, WhatsApp, email, and virtual meetings
• Conduct regular follow-ups to improve lead conversion rates
• Maintain and update accurate student data in the CRM system
• Coordinate with marketing, academic, and support teams to ensure a smooth admissions process

Requirements & Skills

• Minimum 1 year of experience in academic counseling, admissions, education sales, or a similar role
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to understand student needs and recommend suitable programs
• Target-driven with strong follow-up and organizational abilities
• Comfortable using CRM systems and digital communication tools

• Bachelor’s degree (Required)
• Submission of a short self-introduction video (Mandatory)

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
