Academic counselor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and student-focused Academic Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will guide students in selecting courses, setting academic goals, and making informed career decisions. The counselor will also provide support in addressing academic challenges and ensuring a positive learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide students in course selection, academic planning, and career pathways.
• Conduct counseling sessions to understand student needs and provide personalized guidance.
• Support students in overcoming academic challenges and improving performance.
• Provide information on training programs, workshops, and placement opportunities.
• Maintain student records and track academic progress.
• Collaborate with faculty and management to ensure student satisfaction and success.
• Organize orientation sessions, seminars, and awareness programs.
• Counsel students on study habits, time management, and exam preparation.
• Handle student queries and concerns with empathy and professionalism.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Education, Counseling, or a related field.
• Freshers or experienced are welcome
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and mentoring abilities.
• Ability to build trust and rapport with students.
• Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
