Job Title: Academic Counselor Study Abroad

Job Summary

The Academic Counselor is responsible for guiding students through the study abroad process by providing accurate information on courses, universities, countries, admission requirements, and visa procedures. The role involves counseling prospective students, converting leads into enrollments, and ensuring a smooth end-to-end admission process.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel students and parents on study abroad options, including countries, universities, courses, eligibility, and career outcomes.
  
• Assess student profiles and recommend suitable programs and institutions.
  
• Handle inbound and outbound calls, follow-ups, and student queries in a professional manner.
  
• Convert inquiries into confirmed enrollments by providing effective guidance and support.
  
• Assist students with application documentation, admissions, and university submissions.
  
• Coordinate with internal teams and overseas partners for offer letters and admission updates.
  
• Guide students through visa documentation and interview preparation.
  
• Maintain accurate student records and update data in CRM systems.
  
• Achieve monthly enrollment targets as assigned by the management.
  
• Participate in training sessions, meetings, and counseling workshops.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduation in any discipline (Education / Management preferred).
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Strong counseling, negotiation, and follow-up abilities.
  
• Basic knowledge of study abroad destinations (UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Europe, etc.) is an advantage.
  
• Ability to work with targets and deadlines.
  
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
  

Experience

• 03 years of experience in education counseling or study abroad consultancy preferred.
  
• Freshers with strong communication skills may also apply.
