Job Description

Job Title: Academic Counsellor

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Academic Counsellor to guide students in choosing the right IT courses and support them throughout the admission process.

Key Responsibilities:

Counsel students and parents about courses, career paths, and job opportunities
Handle student enquiries (walk-ins, calls, online leads)
Explain course details, duration, fees, and certification benefits clearly
Support admissions and maintain student records
Follow up with prospective students and ensure enrolment targets
Coordinate with academic and marketing teams
Maintain accurate data using computer systems

Requirements:

Proven experience as an Academic Counsellor or similar role
Strong communication and counselling skills
Good computer proficiency (MS Office, email, CRM/basic software)
Ability to handle students with a positive and professional attitude
Target-oriented and self-motivated
Experience in an educational or IT training institute is preferred

Qualification:

Any graduate (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
