Academic Coordinator

**Job Title:** Academic Coordinator – Primary Wing

**Location:* MODERN SCHOOL, VAISHALI, GHAZIABAD

**Position Type:** Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced and committed **Academic Coordinator for the Primary Wing** to oversee academic planning, curriculum implementation, and teacher support. The ideal candidate should be a strong leader with a passion for early education and the ability to ensure the highest academic standards.

**Key Responsibilities:**

**Academic Leadership & Planning**

* Oversee curriculum delivery for Grades 1–5 and ensure alignment with CBSE/ICSE/School standards.

* Develop yearly academic plans, timetables, assessments, and activity calendars.

* Introduce innovative teaching methodologies, activity-based learning, and modern pedagogical practices.

**Teacher Mentoring & Development**

* Supervise and guide primary teachers in lesson planning, classroom management, and instructional strategies.

* Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback.

* Organize regular teacher training sessions, workshops, and professional development programs.

**Student Learning & Progress**

* Monitor students’ academic performance and ensure timely interventions for slow learners.

* Review assessment plans, worksheets, and report cards.

* Support remedial programs and enrichment activities.

**Coordination & Administration**

* Act as a bridge between the school management, teachers, students, and parents.

* Ensure smooth conduct of examinations, events, PTMs, and academic activities.

* Maintain academic records, data analysis of results, and compliance with school policies.

**Qualifications & Requirements:**

* Postgraduate/Graduate with **B.Ed./M.Ed.**

* Minimum **5–7 years of teaching experience**, including **1–2 years in a supervisory or coordinator role** (preferred).

* Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

* Deep understanding of primary pedagogy, child psychology, and curriculum design.

* Proficiency in technology-based teaching tools and school ERP systems.
