AB Testing (Contract 1 Year)

platform to support and accelerate our testing, experimentation, optimization, and personalization efforts on our

marketing web site.

This role combines front-end development skills with a deep understanding of experimentation strategy to drive

impactful digital experiences. As our AB Tasty power user, you will harness the platforms full potential to

support agile prototyping, dynamic component development, and sophisticated A/B testing. You’ll play a

hands-on role in designing and building modular components, crafting test variations, and deploying

personalized experiences across the customer journey.

In close collaboration with web designers, creative teams, and marketers, you’ll help create high-performing,

data-informed user experiences that support our growth goals. Your technical expertise and strategic mindset

will be essential in fostering a fast-paced, test-and-learn culture across the organization.

This role is the intersection of technology, experimentation, and user experience.

Responsibilities:

Platform Expertise

Architect and maintain scalable components using AB Tasty visual and code-based editors.

• Stay up to date with new platform capabilities and translate them into actionable use cases.

Component & Experiment Development

• Write custom JavaScript/CSS/HTML for tests and personalized experiences.
• Build reusable code templates and AB Tasty widgets for experimentation at scale.
• Implement and manage advanced test logic, including conditional flows and server-side integrations.

Tagging, Tracking & QA

• Ensure robust tagging through collaboration with analytics.
• Establish QA processes for pre-deployment test validation.
• Deploy and maintain feature flags to support agile experimentation and controlled rollouts.

Experimentation Strategy

• Contribute to test ideation and prioritization aligned to business goals.
• Translate hypotheses into technically feasible test implementations.
• Monitor and analyze test performance with statistical rigor, generating reports and insights.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Partner with Design UX, Web analytics and web creative to enable experimentation across the customer

journey.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of front-end development experience (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) in a commercial environment.
• Deep familiarity with customer experience optimization platforms like AB Tasty, Optimizely, VWO

(Visual Website Optimizer)

• Experience in creating and deploying custom components using JavaScript frameworks or native

scripting inside testing platforms.

• Working knowledge of DOM manipulation, client-side performance, and browser debugging.
• Exposure to Content Management Systems, in particular to headless CMS like Contentful
• Exposure to API integrations and client/server-side web data tracking (e.g., Google Analytics)
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Understanding of CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) principles, statistics, and sample sizing.
• Familiarity with personalization use cases and customer data layers.
• Experience implementing experiments in e-commerce or SaaS environments.
