Ab Initio Module Lead

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement complex data integration solutions using Ab Initios graphical interface and command-line tools.
• Participates in design reviews, conducts code reviews, creates test plans, participates in testing reviews, and resolves complex defects.
• Analyze complex data requirements and translate them into effective Ab Initio designs.
• Develop and maintain efficient data pipelines, including data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
• Able to create detailed ETL development estimates and change requests.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Ab Initio jobs and data flows.
• Be able to evaluate technical designs and data mapping documents and develop based on user requirements.
• Create and update technical documentation using high-level technical specification documents.
• Optimize performance and scalability of Ab Initio jobs.
• Other responsibilities include enhancement, performance tuning, and support of existing applications.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data analysts, and other team members to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Stay up to date with the latest Ab Initio technologies and industry best practices.
• Willingness to do out of hour support and work in UK shift.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Strong understanding of Ab Initio components like Rollup, Normalize, Scan.... etc.
• Strong knowledge in web components like call by web service.
• Good to have knowledge in migration projects.
• Experience in data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL concepts.
• Good to have knowledge on Jira, CA7, and Agile methodology.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
• Perform performance tuning on both LINUX, ETL, and Oracle database environments.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
