SAFETY ENGINEER 8 years experience Previous experience in Kuwait is preferred Safety Engineers- Job Description The HSE Engineers will be reporting to the HSE Manager and shall ensure the safe execution of the construction activities of the project in respective work sites. The HSE engineer is responsible for the following ? To ensure the fulfilment of all the HSE Requirements as per KOC HSE Procedures and requirements ? Responsible for the safe execution of all the works at respective work site ? Conducting overall Toolbox Talk on a weekly basis before starting the work ? To ensure required PPE to all the employees those who are entering the work site. ? To ensure regular and proper HSE Trainings, HSE awareness programs, Toolbox meeting for the workers. ? To coordinate, assist and conduct HSE Audits on each site on regular basis ? Coordination with KOC/PMC HSE representatives and assist during their site visits. ? Ensure implementation of all the HSE Recommendations provided by the KOC/PMC HSE representatives during their site visits. ? Ensure implementation of all the HSE Recommendations from the KOC/PMC HSE representatives after their Inspections or Audits ? Maintaining proper HSE records and ensure proper updating ? Instructing & educating the HSE Officers about the importance of safety requirements and procedures on regular basis ? Coordination with PMC HSE Team for the regular site inspections and auditing. ? To attend and clear the HSE issues raised by KOC/PMC HSE Team and site representatives in coordination with the construction supervisors at site. ? Responsible for the safe execution of sup-contract work (if any) in coordination with the respective subcontractor's HSE Officer ? Control & ensure the availability of PPE for the employees at site, newcomers, and visitors on each site/store. ? Proper HSE Reporting to KOC about the Accidents, Incidents, First Aid, Near Miss, SOC and Trainingsetc. on Monthly or Weekly basis as required. ? To ensure safe execution of the project in compliance to the KOC HSE standards & procedures ? Confirm The number of HSE officers shall be in accordance with HSEMS guidelines for Contractors
